For centuries, the chants of Hiʻiakaikapoliopele have carried ancestral wisdom that shapes us as Kanaka. Join us as we continue this lineage through an epic theatrical vision:
A mini preview of the show, will be performed during the 2026 Native Hawaiian Convention, followed by a panel discussion with some of the cast and crew!
Rooted in the moʻolelo of Hiʻiaka and Pele,
this uniquely Hawaiian theatrical experience honors the traditions of the past while inviting a new generation to discover one of Hawaiʻi's greatest stories. This marks the first time the centuries-old Hawaiian legend of Hiʻiakaikapoliopele will be staged as a Broadway-caliber musical.
